Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2004
Despite McQueen’s expressed desire to present a show devoid of spectacle in his Fall/Winter 2004 show, when the collection moved from day into eveningwear, the tone turned dramatically towards the conceptually futuristic. Here Estonian supermodel Tiiu Kuik wears an extreme rendition of the classic evening gown. Unlike many McQueen shows, the shock value in this look lies purely in the design itself and not its presentation.
